A handmade Illinois Treasures quilt by Debbie Prater is traveling with us this year. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5, at the shelter during open hours and at upcoming events (including Putts 4 Pets). All proceeds benefit the animals of the Humane Society of Logan County.

Putts 4 Pets Golf Outing

Grab your clubs for the 3rd Annual Putts 4 Pets! Enjoy an afternoon on the beautiful 18-hole course while helping the animals at the Humane Society of Logan County. The day includes check-in at 11:30 am, a delicious catered lunch, raffle baskets, golfer prizes and a swag bag, with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. $100 per person or $400 per foursome, catered lunch included. Hole sponsorships are $150 and include a personalized sign with your name or business — the deadline for hole sponsorships has been extended to Monday, September 21, 2026 at noon. To sign up for golf or a hole sponsorship, call Kay Armbruster at (309) 208-8466. Tee off for a great cause, because every drive helps save lives!

Love Takes Flight at Balloons Over 66

Join the Humane Society of Logan County for a pop-up event during the Balloons Over 66 weekend! Stop by to fill the van with needed shelter donations, learn about adopting a pet, and pick up a volunteer application. You can also honor your pet with a 5 dollar tribute card, in honor or memory of a beloved pet, to help care for the shelter animals. Look for us at the corner of McLean and Pulaski Streets, right across from Dock Dogs. Come watch the Dock Dogs and support HSLC at the same time!
