Violet, who will keep her name, also went to a home with children, two older and two younger.  The young daughters accompanied their mother to pick up Violet.  They liked Violet, and she liked them, but they were really, really interested in the kittens.  Mom and Violet bonded immediately, and she said they would become best friends.
