New and Expanded Open Hours
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Sunday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
The HSLC SHELTER at 1801 East Lincoln Parkway has opened the doors to our first guests.
We have lively, adorable kittens, puppies and young adult cats and dogs ready for adoption.
The successful operation of the HSLC shelter going forward will depend on the dedication and willingness of our volunteers. We will need your help everyday of the year. Caring for abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats is a huge responsibility. We are counting on those of you who expressed a desire to volunteer at the shelter.
WANT TO VOLUNTEER???????
HSLC is still in need of volunteers. Volunteers are needed for every task from cleaning cages, feeding, walking dogs to answering the phone. Please e-mail us at or call 217.737.4042 and let us know how you can help, even if it is only an hour or two.
