Today, Buddy, our boxer mix who has been in foster care, was adopted by his foster family. He loves his family, and they love him. He has a four legged playmate and three girls who love him; especially the youngest daughter. They have a special bond. Buddy belongs in that home, and he will be treasured for the rest of his life.

Thomas, our orange kitten, was adopted today. His new life will be very different from his first few months. He has a new name, Alex, a new home, and will make new friends......two dogs. Thomas has probably never seen a dog, so this should be quite an adjustment. He is a friendly, outgoing kitten, so he will do very, very well.

Scooby, our black and white terrier, was adopted on Tuesday. His new name is Poppy, and he has a forever home with a cat named Oreo. Oreo has ruled the household for some time, so Poppy will have to learn who is in charge. Poppy was adopted by a volunteer dog walker who fell in love on a walk around the shelter.
Baby Kitty, our long haired tortoise was adopted. She will join another cat in her new home. Just a few months ago, there were two other cats living there, but the "mother" lost both of them due to age. So, she is going to a home where cats are welcome. Baby Kitty will get a new name, but it is yet to be determined.
Mr. Kitty, the big, black fluffy cat, has found a forever home. He goes to a family with two children. Mr. Kitty will have a new name, but the decision has not been made at this time. He surprised the family when he came home tonight because they were not expecting him to arrive so soon.
Annie, our tortoise kitten, was adopted by a couple with no other pets, so Annie will be an only "child". She should get lots and lots of attention. They are a cat family, but at the present time, Annie is the only one.
Matilda is now part of a home in Normal. She is a birthday present for a 14 year old girl who fell in love at first sight. Matilda will also have a pre-teen boy to play with.....and a cat.

Our gray tiger striped kitten, Quentin, has found a forever home. His name is now Max, and he joins a household with Leo, a 3 year old cat. Quentin personified the word active, so he probably has worn Leo to a frazzle by now.
