Forever Home Pet Cemetery

The Humane Society of Logan County unveiled their plans for a pet cemetery on our grounds on Lincoln Parkway Monday evening. The Forever Home Pet Cemetery will initially offer more than 600 plots for cremains of animals of all kinds in a lovely pastoral setting including a gazebo. The grounds will allow for thousands more as needed in the future. The committee that worked and planned the cemetery was spearheaded by Dennis Schrader and Marilyn Wheat with members Dan Bailey, Judy Conzo and Mick Turner also involved in the planning. Further details and cost structure for those interested in having a pet find their final resting place on the grounds will be forthcoming this spring.
