On February 6th the Humane Society was invited to New Holland-Middletown Grade School to participate in an assembly.  This is the second year we have been asked to come.  The whole school participates in a monthly 'civic project', and in January the Humane Society is their target.  The school raised over three hundred dollars for us.  Our thanks to all of them for their hard work.  It is greatly appreciated!  One little girl stood out because she lost her four-legged friend in December.  She and her family donated $175 for our cause. Her name is Paige Langley, and after listening to her story, there was not a dry eye around!  Thank you Paige and thanks to all of the students, you all made our visit memorable!!
