During the season of giving, sharing and being thankful for our blessings HSLC will light up the Tree of Hope. Our Tree of Hope project is designed so that everyone is able to help homeless animals, while they honor and remember loved ones, friends and pets---living and deceased. Ace Hardware, 521 North Kickapoo, Lincoln, IL is once again the sponsor of the Tree of Hope that will be sparkling with many tiny lights. Each light on the Tree of Hope will represent a tribute to a loyal companion, loved one or friend.
All donors and honorees will be posted (unless otherwise instructed) at the main entrance to Ace Hardware, on Facebook, on our website at www.hslclincoln.org, in our weekly e-mail update and on the doors of the HSLC Shelter.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO SUPPORT THE TREE OF HOPE.

HSLC volunteers care for our dogs and cats until they go to a forever home.
Can you spare 2 hours of your time once a week? We are in need of volunteers at the shelter to help us with the dogs and cats. We will train you. You will work as a team with other caring and generous volunteers who graciously give of their time to clean and socialize the dogs and cats.
We volunteer 7 days a week. The dog schedule is 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The cat schedule is 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. You will get to know and love our dogs and cats and rejoice with us when they go to their new forever homes. That’s really what it’s all about.
Call (737-4042) or come into the shelter and fill out a volunteer application. Fulfilling our mission is dependent on our dedicated volunteers. We can’t do this without you.
