birthday party oliva 225x300When Olivia Deneke sat down with her mother, Stephanie, to plan her 7th birthday party, she had a big surprise for her mother. Olivia was heard to exclaim “I don’t want any presents. I have enough toys and want to help the dogs and cats that are homeless. My friends can celebrate my birthday by helping the HSLC Shelter.” Her mother was very proud of Olivia for her kindness and unselfish deed. The picture on left shows Olivia sitting among the:

40 # litter, 45 # Cat Food, 10 # Kitten Food, 85 # Dog Food,

along with Litter Pans, Food Bowls, Cat Toys, Leashes/Collars

and $10.00 cash that she received at her birthday party.

WHAT AN AMAZING YOUNG LADY!!!!!!
HSLC says THANK YOU to Olivia and her young friends for their generosity. Their presents will make a difference in the lives of many homeless cats and dogs.
